Thumbnail Generator

Make a clean, readable thumbnail in your browser. Type a title, choose a size and style, add your own photo if you want one, then download a PNG. This tool draws text and shapes on a canvas. It does not generate photos and does not use AI.

How to use it

  1. Type a short title. Three to five words usually stay readable at small sizes.
  2. Pick a size for where you will publish it, then a style, font and colors.
  3. Optional: upload your own photo as the background and use the darken slider until the title stands out.
  4. Click Download thumbnail as PNG and save the file.

Tips for a readable thumbnail

  • Keep the title short and use one clear idea per thumbnail.
  • Use strong contrast between the title and the background.
  • Check the preview at a small size, because that is how most viewers will first see it.
  • If you use a photo, make sure you have the right to use it.

What this tool cannot do
